MEET THE TEAM

Amy Everhart, PMHNP-BC, PMH-C

Amy started Well Balanced Women with the goal to be the provider she always needed along her own motherhood journey. She specializes in Reproductive Psychiatry which refers to Women's Mental Health across the reproductive lifespan. This includes preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, and the transition through perimenopause. She will work with you to find the right treatment plan specifically for you. She created an environment that is welcoming and laid back so you will be comfortable from the start. There will never be waiting days for a response or running out of medications because you can't get ahold of her office. The only regret you might have is that you didn't find her sooner. She is looking forward to working with you!

Beth Sanchez, PMHNP-BC

Beth has been a nurse for 21 years mostly in labor and delivery where she has seen so many women struggle with poorly managed and untreated mental illness. She is passionate about women's mental health because women are the backbone of most families and much of our society. She enjoys building strong relationships with her patients and takes an integrative approach that focuses on wellness as a whole. Most of her free time is spent with my husband and 3 children. She enjoys watching them play sports and grow into awesome teenagers and young adults. She loves hiking, working out, eating yummy food and spending time with friends.

Brittany Schmidt, PMHNP-BC

Brittany is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner specializing in women's mental health across the lifespan. Her main focus in her nursing career has been within labor and delivery as well as postpartum. This gives her a unique perspective and experience when treating patients. She'll work together with you to find balance and support your unique mental health needs. She's available virtually, or in person, at Well Balanced Women giving you flexibility to prioritize your mental health care. Brittany looks forward to working with you and helping you achieve your mental health goals!

The reproductive years are a majority of a woman's life. There are unique challenges we face depending on the stage we are in. If you have been on various medications that have not worked in the past or have never tried medication at all, Brittany will help you find one that works best so that you can truly optimize your functioning.

Kelsey Malo, RN, BSN

Kelsey has nursing experience as a NICU nurse at Nationwide Children's Hospital and in an eating disorders clinic. She is passionate about women's mental health not only to help break the stigma women have with mental health but also because she has experienced mental health illness throughout her life such as anxiety and depression. She also experienced horrid postpartum depression and anxiety after her twin boys were born.

Kelsey feels being able to be a part of a monumental movement for women's mental health is an honor. Being able to work for Well Balanced Women is a passion of hers that she is so excited about to be fulfilling. Kelsey loves to go camping with her boys and her husband, crafting, fall weather, and watching Ohio State Football. She will often be a patient's first point of contact and help guide them through the process of becoming a patient at Well Balanced Women! She is here for any questions or concerns our patients have along the way.
